With the Floranext Delivery Manager, you can create delivery routes, get directions, view maps and keep track of order statuses. Navigate to Orders > Deliveries to get started!
The Delivery Manager displays all orders for delivery or pickup on the date selected. Use the calendar to select a date, then click Show.
Create Routes
Your Local Deliveries will list all orders for local delivery on the selected date by zip code.
Select the checkbox next to which orders you'd like to put into a single route and click Route Delivery. You can also select all orders by clicking the top checkbox to check all.
It's best practice to route the AM deliveries separately from untimed deliveries. Alternatively, you can include AM deliveries in a route with other untimed deliveries, but you may want to reorder the stop to be towards the beginning of the route on Google Maps (more on this later).
Assigning a Driver to a Chosen Route
Once orders have been routed, you can assign a driver to the designated route.
Go to one of your routed deliveries, click Add Driver, type in the driver's name and then Add.
This information will also be printed on the delivery manifest.
Viewing Routes on Google Maps
Now that the orders on a route, they've been reorganized based on shortest distance.
Click MapQuest on the top right of Route 1 to view all addresses on Google Maps in a new window.
Overview
MapQuest will allow you to reorder the addresses, print maps, print directions or even send directions to a smartphone. Be sure to put AM deliveries in their own route or drag them to the start of the route when needed.
Share MapQuest Directions to Mobile Phone
On the new MapQuest, click 'Share' to enter the mobile phone number to send directions.
Send Delivery Confirmation
After the orders were delivered, set the status to Taken/Delivered (far right) for the delivery confirmation email to send to your customer.
