1. Setting other tax Rates

It is highly important that your Floranext system is charging the proper tax for your area. This can be set in your Floranext dashboard under Settings > Tax Rate.

Click Edit to update a given tax rate.

Enter the sales tax rate for your area in whole numbers, without the percentage sign—for example, if the tax rate is 11.5%, enter 11.5, not 11.5% or 0.115.

Status should be set to Enabled.

Click Save in the upper-right and your tax rate is set.

For most shops, a single sales tax rate is all that is required and you are ready to move on! If multiple tax rates are needed for your area or you would like the POS to default to a different tax rate than the Proposal Manager, see below.

Setting Other Tax Rates

If you would like to set a 0% tax rate for your Proposals section, here is how you would do it.

Start by clicking Add Tax Rate button in the upper-right.

Enter the tax percentage into the Tax Rate field. You can name your tax rate if you choose.

Important: Make sure that the tax rate is set to "Enabled" or it will not be applied.

Click Save and your new tax rate has been created.

To ensure that this new tax rate applies to your Proposals, check that the radio button under Proposals is set to the new proposals tax rate you just made.
