Step 1: Access Stripe Dashboard
https://dashboard.stripe.com/login
- Navigate to payments tab
- select readers ➜ Locations on left hand side
- if no location has been added, do so now by select "+ location"
- Now select "+ reader"
Step 2: Accessing your Wise reader
- When you first receive the device, install the battery.
- Make sure your device is fully charged
- Hold down the power button on the right-hand side until the screen turns on
and wait for the device to fully turn on and update. - After the update, you should be able to use the Reader now.
- Then open the settings menu, swipe right from the left edge of the reader screen to reveal a Settings button. Tap the Settings button and enter the admin PIN 07139. From here, you can update your WiFi settings or generate a pairing code for device registration.
- Next, Go to the BBPOS WisePOS E settings, and then tap Generate pairing code.
- Now go back to the Stripe website to fill in the Registration code, which will generate by the reader.
You can now use the reader after you press "Complete Order" on the payment screen.
NOTE:
The BBPOS WisePOS E cannot be connected through Hotspot.
