Downloading and Installing
With the Floranext Remote Print app you can print tickets, receipts, invoices, and work orders on your Floranext Point of Sale and website without pop ups. Here is a step by step guild on installing and troubleshooting your Floranext Remote Print app.
Download the Right Version for Your Operating System
Floranext Remote Print Installer
Note: The Floranext Remote Print app does not work on iPad Point of Sale yet.
Log Into Floranext Remote Print app
The app icon should be located on your desktop.
Use the same login/password you use for your Floranext admin login.
Update Print Settings in Your Floranext Admin
In the Floranext admin navigate to Settings ➜ Print Setting
Reports and Documents
- Print Method - Floranext Print App
- Printer - Select Printer (and tray if the option is shown)
Ticket Print
- Print Method - Floranext Print App
- Printer - Select Printer (and tray if the option is shown)
Receipt Print
- Print Method - Floranext Print App
- Printer - Select Printer (and tray if the option is shown)
Test Print: If you wish to test a print job navigate to Orders ➜ View Order ➜ Print
Troubleshooting
General
- Check you are on the most recent version
- Multi-tray printers - Set Printer Tray to Automatic if this option available
- Antivirus - Norton and Kaspersky Anti-Virus sometime block the app; Set Floranext Remote Print as an exception.
Mac Print App
- Make sure info window is closed. If open the Mac app will not print.
- Menu ➜ Reconnect - Will reconnect the app if it somehow becomes disconnected from the print server.
- Printer not showing in Print Settings - Logout of the print app and log back in.
Windows Print app
- Old Windows OS - Some customers continue to run old Windows Operations Systems. These operating systems are not supported by Microsoft and are a security risk. The Print App will not work with these end of life systems.
